- A history tab for adding your transactions. They'll be added up and allocated automatically for you, with the totals showing on the main dashboard as well as other tabs!

- A positions tab which will summarize in tabular format the total performance of each of the company's aka tickers you are investing in. They'll automatically be updated for this tab from your history tab entries!

- A Breakdown tab that has a doughnut chart that shows the distribution of your portfolio by ticker.

- A Stock list which has all of the major companies available to trade on the NYSE. Over 6,400 companies. This should aid in your research and reference if you ever forget a ticker.

This workbook does contain links to GOOGLEFINANCE as well as Scripts that I wrote to "do" a lot of the heavy lifting. Therefore there are more moving parts than a simple spreadsheet. It's the double edged sword of automation. The end user(ie you or your spouse) may have to refresh the workbook or occasionally troubleshoot in order to update. I'll be glad to help if you've exhausted my troubleshooting tips, and googled solutions unsuccessfully. This workbook is as plug and play as you can get without me linking directly to your finance data which i'm sure you wouldn't want anyways. So you'll need to be at least familiar enough with google sheets/excel in order to follow simple instructions and copy and paste data or be willing to read your data and insert it into the history tab which may take extra time.
